The air around them seemed to get a little darker as the smell intensified. Typical of them, but they would have a few minutes before reinforcements showed up. Amazing what one could learn in a week's time. "Alright, alright. We're going." he jumped in the driver's seat and shut his door, pulling on his seatbelt out of instinct while starting up the jeep. Taking off he got back onto the road and headed back towards town from the outskirts. "If you look in the glovebox there's some rounds that aught to work in that pistol of yours." he offered, having noticed the weapon when he showed up to the rescue earlier. "Take two, that should be enough to keep the zombies back. Just remember.. aim for the face, preferably the forehead or eyes."

She nodded to him putting the belt on and and looking where he said for the bullets. She found two and put them in checking the gun a moment to make sure her safety was off just in case. She didn't want to miss a desperately needed shot. She watched the area as he drove remaining silent for a time before she spoke again. "It's strange. The more I find out about the things going on here, the more I wonder why the government hadn't already sent something. I mean it's been at least a week from what the other guys said.." She looked to the man beside her a moment. "Not sure I told you yet, but I'm Samantha.. you can call me Sam, well if we live this long.."

He watched feeling board as the two would enter the jeep and start driving. He rolled his eyes wishing a moment to scream even if they cou;dn't hear him. He decided it better to be patient. He figured everyone around the girl so far ended up dead. it would only be a matter of time before another ended up like so.

"Well, Samantha. Nice to meet you, though it's a shame it couldn't have been under better conditions." he offered in response as they shot along the wet street winding through the woods back towards town. "Tell me a bit more about yourself. got any hobbies other than being bitten by vampires and mobed by zombies, or is this a full time sort of thing for you?" Jack joked, turning on the brights and accelerating, though staying in his own lane as if there was a tone of traffic coming, apparently out of habit.

She looked to him a moment before replying to his comments. "Well you know, there's also the dancing under the full moon and taking comunion with the spirits of the underworld, oh and the eating dinner with the demons." She smiled towards him giving a slight chuckle despite their situation. "No, I'm really as boring as they get. I read books, silly novels really. I work as a waitress in a small town diner. I came here because, well my twin called sounding scared unsure of where to turn. Given we haven't spoken really since one of our childhood quarrels." She looked ahead at the road sighing realizing how foolish they had been. "I guess, none of it really matters now.."

He sighed board once more and wanting more to torture these two humans. He smiled getting an idea he hadn't pulled in a long time. He moved himself forward enough to be sitting in the engine. He began his channeling through him to the engine trying to stall it, hopefully leaving the two helpless in a world overrun by the things that go bump in the night. He contemplated granting either of them with the site of him but would wait until the best moment. Just when they wouldn't expect it. Seeing how trigger happy they were with things of the dark he thought it could be a fun game to see who may end up shooting who.

She held her bag close as she walked along the dark road. Her eyes scanning the area for the spooks of the night that seemed to have come out. She heard howling in the distance and looked up past some trees to the moon above and sighed. So much had happened in the last few days already, she wasn't sure what more this world could take. She turned again towards the road seeing lights and wondered if the inhabitants of the vehicle were of the lively bunch or of the creatures of the night. She stood there a moment as she heard a popping sound and knew if they were normal, having a breakdown here would not be a wise thing.

She looked to the area though thought for a moment she saw a dark figure ahead on the road. She tried to see it better though heard the engine begin to make a strange noise. She looked to him a moment as the sound began getting worse. "That.. Doesn't sound good. This Jeep safe enough to keep going?" She looked between him and the road suddenly hearing a loud grinding noise to see the engine catch fire. Her eyes widened a moment then held on as the jeep lost it's control and swerved violently on the road. She looked ahead seeing a woman about to be hit and called out just before the jeep took a roll with the two inside.

She turned suddenly hearing the small explosion and looked around for the cause though there seemed to be nothing. She quickly jumped out of the way realizing the one driving had no control. She ran towards the vehicle though couldn't get close on account of the fire of the engine. She pulled a book from her pack and held it open in one hand, the other outstretched towards the fire. Her voice muttered words softly under her breath. As the last word was spoken a ball of water formed from the moisture of the air around them. It loomed there a moment before splashing down to stop the fire. She put the book back and ran towards the driver side and looking to the man, and seeing the girl in the passenger side. She undid the driver's buckle and carefully helped him out of the jeep and laid him on the ground gently patting his cheek. "Hey mister, you okay?" She looked up seeing what she thought another man walk to the passenger side, but when she stood and looked, there was no one there. Odd, she thought as she went to looking to the girl and did the same as she had for the driver. She needed to get these people off the road. She looked up again seeing a shadow in the sunset light, though nothing was there. She dragged the girl to the driver hoping to get a response out of either. "come on you two.. this is no place for a nap"

He laughed watching his work on the truck. Such a beautiful wreck he had managed to create. He watched the flames till something disrupted them and sighed. It had been fun while it lasted, though he hadn't seen one before, he was sure of what this new figure was. Perhaps he could play with her just as easily as he did with the other girl.
